{"id":4463,"date":"2024-09-12T11:19:17","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T15:19:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/orgstl.araknyd.com\/section-bottin\/societe-chorale-de-saint-lambert\/"},"modified":"2024-09-18T07:17:44","modified_gmt":"2024-09-18T11:17:44","slug":"societe-chorale-de-saint-lambert","status":"publish","type":"section-bottin","link":"https:\/\/orgstl.araknyd.com\/en\/section-bottin\/societe-chorale-de-saint-lambert\/","title":{"rendered":"St. Lambert Choral Society"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>History<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 1919, the St. Lambert Choral Society celebrated its 100<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;anniversary in 2019, making it the first century-old choir in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mission<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To promote choral singing in Saint-Lambert and the Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie through its innovative programs available to a broad public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Repertoire<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Classical music, sacred works, opera arias and songs from various cultures around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Awards and distinctions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Medal of the National Assembly and the Prix Lambertois de la culture in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Concerts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two concerts a year (December and May) under the direction of Gabrielle Gaudreault, conductor and artistic director since June 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tickets<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pre-sales online and at Librairie Le Fureteur Saint-Lambert. At the door, on the day of the concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Auditions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are always looking for choristers for all sections. Do you have experience in choral singing, as well as basic, intermediate or advanced musical training, a good ear and an interest in performing great arias from the repertoire?
