The mission of an Accorderie is to combat poverty and social exclusion through the exchange of services and education through cooperation. It strengthens solidarity between people of different ages, genders, cultures and incomes.
The Accorderie is based on a simple, original principle: to enable local residents to get together and exchange services, based on their know-how, without any financial compensation.
Each member starts with a bank of 15 hours at his or her disposal. Transactions are compiled in each member’s bank – no tricks, no volunteering!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00c9lise needs help to get to the grocery store. She asks St\u00e9phane to drive her home after her shopping. \u00c9lise takes 15 minutes out of her time bank and sends it to St\u00e9phane. St\u00e9phane wants to learn how to cook vegan. He asks Gr\u00e9gory and together they spend 1 hour talking, exchanging recipes, finding ingredients, etc. St\u00e9phane will take 1 hour of his time.
